👋 fellow #WishlistWednesday #indiedevs! We are 🚀ing towards our release by putting the finishing touches on https://t.co/p3hK9Lyb8J. 💬 a link to your game and ❤️ + 🔁 this! Don’t be afraid to mention you are utilizing AI! #gamedev #indiegame #gamedevwithai

@OneHitKillDev @spawn Very cool!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

There are so many people quick to label the use of AI in #gamedev as slop. However, there are so many ways to use it outside of the obvious fake “one prompt” games. Fellow #indiedevs let’s hear how you are using AI and drop a link to your game! #FollowFriday

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@DomDoesDev_ That’s one thing we like too. Quickly test out a theory that might not make it to the end product!

@zaxiik 🔥🎮🔥

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@RiceNinja248 We will have to check it out!!!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@maiangames I think that is what is missed on the AI haters. It’s not like a lot of us rather use AI than human artists. It is just starting out it is hard to justify paying someone when you haven’t made any money on the project yet.

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@AccretionWorlds 💯 agree. Just another tool in the tool belt.

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@cosmic_dominion Going to check it out!!!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@dadofwands ⬆️ definitely someone to follow!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@BiskeyGames Very cool!!!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

Thank you everyone for sharing. We are using AI throughout our development process. We aren’t vibe coding though. Those who really use AI know it’s not perfect. Blade Dodger has been a passion project for one of us for more than 8 years. Here is the original commit to our repo.

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@iamsethmedina Nice!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@mtz_gamedev Can’t wait to see what you have built!

[Sota Games @SotaGames]

@VEKARRA Thank you so much for being the first one to share! Perfectly legit way to use AI and definitely not slop!

[Ash @AshConnell]

Game devs, instead of getting mad that AI can do things you spent years learning, imagine what you could build with all that experience AND AI.

We have the opportunity to make games that were never possible before. Why aren't we more excited about that?

Another #ShowcaseThursday. Wanted to show you all what we accomplished yesterday. Trying to make it easier for players to understand interacting with our skill tree. Starting our countdown to release. Wishlist @ https://t.co/p3hK9Lyb8J #indiegames #indiedev #roguelite #countdown

@PaganSheep We hope so!
