It’s really up to the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the Hon’ble Delhi High Court if they wish to remain relevant for people and true to their constitutional oath.
On 10th October, Delhi Police detained and assaulted many lawyers, senior and junior.
Many peaceful protesters were brutally assaulted by the police.
Police is brazenly assaulting protesters. The videos are all in the public domain. No dearth of evidence.
Young Leaders and journalists continue to be held in illegal detention.
Peaceful assembly and protests are constitutional.
Standing orders denying permission are illegal !
Law and Order cannot subvert democracy!

I am a member of the Supreme Court a bar Association and glad the CJI has done this- BUT- let’s be clear; EVERY INDIAN CITIZEN HAS EQUAL RIGHTS!!!
All those detained should be released in the same way as my colleagues at the bar and the CJI has sworn an oath to treat all citizens equally.

“Unless you don’t create such fright in the minds if the criminals ki ab kuch kiya toh mar jayengey (if we commit such a crime we will die) you will not be able to prevent such crimes” says Justice JB Pardiwala in a suo moto case that the Supreme Court initiated over the increasing rape cases and other crimes against women in Delhi.

“You need to create a fright, a fear in the mind of a man who is prone to commit such officers”, the judge said.

The Supreme Court has told Delhi police to be harsh if needed. Be very harsh, and there will be people who will talk about Article 21 (Right to Life), referring to human rights groups who advocate against mistreatment of criminals.
The Court said the authorities can be inconsiderate of such groups and can be very harsh in cracking down on dastardly criminals who commit rape.

Mbeumo is suffering the most from Carrick ball. He’ll pop up and now and then with an opportunity but for the majority of the game will be a complete non factor. A player that thrived as an inside forward is now being used as a touchline winger. I don’t see any complaints about misprofiling though.
