Humbled and honored tonight to return from whence I came @SHSPrincipalGKs (Sterling High School, class of 1985) to be recognized for my life's achievements and inducted into the 'Alumni Hall of Fame' at my high school is a surreal experience. It's profoundly sobering to realize that 41 years have passed since I last walked those halls this June. I'm thrilled to join the class of 2026 at the Senior Dinner on and the awards ceremony that follows. I look forward to sharing my heartfelt remarks, gifting some of my new books, and offering some timeless wisdom that I wish someone had shared with me when I was 17 and graduating in 1985. Thank you Sterling Knights Sterling High School.

As we head into the summer #America250 commemorations and celebrations. One question asked long ago by Ben Franklin: Is one we all need to ask ourselves today. Are we keeping this Republic right now? And can we keep it another 250 years? My thoughts @NewsHour below.
When asked what sort of government the United States had, Benjamin Franklin famously said, "A republic, if you can keep it."
Like many, columnist Sophia Nelson has been wondering how well we have kept it. Her new book, "Redefining Freedom," seeks to answer that question and provide recommendations for how we can adapt America's founding principles.

Do you ever listen to the words you’re speaking? Sometimes we can get so discouraged that we don’t even realize our words are full of gloom and defeat. But James wrote that our words direct the course of our life for victory or defeat (James 3:4–5).
"To be in joy, take a few minutes each day and intentionally send love to everyone you know, and to the world. Really intensify the feeling of love and peace in your heart first, and then feel that love going out from your heart to everyone. The law of attraction matches the frequencies you send out, and will return the love to you multiplied. When applied deeply and correctly this exercise can completely change your life, and at the same time touch the lives of many."
