A #ValentinesDay love bite! The rainbow #nudibranch (Dendronotus iris) feeds on tube-dwelling anemones (Pachycerianthus fimbriatus) with a sneak attack! The #seaslug is only interested in a mouthful of tentacles, but the anemone sure doesn't appreciate being spaghetti dinner.
As it's #WormWednesday, I must share the beautiful tube worms currently living on the @PLUTOwebcam in Plymouth Sound you can see them, tentacles out, feeding here LIVE: https://t.co/SimN7ZmJQ9 Also, just for @CapturingRCoast if you are quick you may catch the grazing topshell!
HELP/ADVICE NEEDED. This bird had been seen around the wharf struggling to fly for the past 3 days, does anybody local to Plymouth have any contacts who may be able to care for this bird or how it can be cared for? Please contact @SaltyseadogIan many thanks
Great start to this year's #MBABioBlitz on the Yealm! Weather is good and we are starting to rack up the species count! #LifeOnTheYealm@thembauk @heritagelottery

Beautiful find at L4 off the coast of #Plymouth for #WormWednesday! This fantastic beast is the larva of a phoronid #worm, widespread but not often seen #plankton. 🌊🌍
