@DaveBakerTV @robperillo High end rates I've seen for the area 7.1"/10 days. Doubled = 14"/10 days. Storms are already training 2-3" per hour, for multiple hrs, today alone. Unlikely to be the only day storms train/move slow all week. Could we, hopefully not, see August 2016 rates this week?

@adamolivierwx @AmberMyles1991 This eases my concern for flooding because the city told me they don't give sandbags unless forecasters recommend it, but these will be severe storms. Hopefully we're not under severe conditions for 4 or 5 hours even if flooding doesn't get out of hand. Stay safe.

@DaveBakerTV Hi Dave! The city told me they only give sandbags if forecasters recommend it. I saw this (pictured below). Predictive radar has the storm line slanting, training over Lafayette 4-5 hrs but the GRAF keeps a solid line moving through sooner.
