Yesterday a Tepe Park leader, an engaged volunteer, and two Community One team members presented at the Prosperity Indiana Summit in Indianapolis. They did a great job representing our community! Thanks for sharing your experiences and learnings with other organizations.
Austin Maxheimer, Merrick Korach, Jessica Bagby, and myself presented at this years Prosperity Summit in Indianapolis. Talking about our neighborhood, the work of our neighbors and our youth!
We’re excited to share that we’ve acquired our next whole-house rehab. And interior demolition begins this weekend! This bungalow-style house on South Kentucky has a lot of style and potential. It is going to be a great rehab project just outside of the Tepe Park neighborhood!
One of my favorite things we've done in the neighborhood happens to be one of the most simple: pop-up at different places, at different times, to meet new people. Last year we met 117 unique neighbors. #TepePark#WhatsGood47713
Hear how Lisa Barnett (@SouthsideStars_), Austin Maxheimer (@comm_one), and Jessica Bagby (Volunteer) are collaborating and bringing together resources to empower our youth in the "The Heart of Lasting Change in Our Youth" session. #PISummit2020

As of today 90% of our youth are now at or above grade level in math!
70% have increased 2 or more grade levels in less then a year!
These are some incredible stats considering where they started!!
Take a bow SSYZ youth, you have earned it!!!!

Hans Edward Rosarion is from Haiti and he came to share his country's rich history with our youth. We learned about their flag which is a symbol of their revolution for independence, traditions, native foods, and their unique culture.

This Friday Lisa Barnett, Executive Director of the SSYZ, will be giving a talk at this event and will be joined by some of our youth!
You won't want to miss it! Tickets are still available.
The heart of community is relationships.
In order to build a strong community, you need to build strong bonds between people.
We are truly blessed to have so many people investing in the youth and families here in Tepe Park.

Thank you so much for your time and compassion!
A couple of students even took our youth under their wing and walked with them throughout the event.
It was an awesome bonding moment for them and our families!
We want to give a huge shoutout to the @ReitzMemorial student volunteers who helped out last night! Your kindness is greatly appreciated. 👏🏻❤️ #MattinglyCharities
We're building something really important here, a community of change makers. Awardees of 2019 early action projects for @TepePark47713. What a collection of neighbors! #WhatsGood47713#TepePark
Growth Group ventured back out to pumpkin carve with the neighborhood. Tonight I did not want to do it. At all. Importance of community, spurring on to greater things.
