Volunteers completed 69 Neighbors Helping Neighbors projects in 2022! That’s 69 simple yet tangible acts of love that made a positive difference in the homes & lives of Evansville neighbors. Homes were painted, yards were cleaned up, decks were stained, and so much more!
Jesus commands His followers to love our neighbors where we are & where we’re called. Because we share a common purpose, churches & Community One make great partners! We'd love to help your church put your love into action. Email [email protected] to get connected.

Did you know that 13 action projects totaling $10,000 were awarded in 2022? These projects help Tepe Park neighbors be the change they want to see in their neighborhood. A technology program engaged youth, fitness classes were hosted, a lemonade stand raised money, and more!
Two groups of volunteers joined together this weekend to give a neighbor’s basement walls a fresh coat of paint. This is what Neighbors Helping Neighbors is all about! Thank you for loving your neighbor as yourself.

Volunteers are critical to our mission. They are the link between Community One and making a positive difference in homes, neighborhoods, and the lives of our neighbors. Our volunteers lift their hands in service and share their hearts with love. We are so thankful for them!
Some home repair projects are life-changing. Leaking roofs, broken furnaces, and accessibility issues can cause health and safety concerns for families. Last year we replaced or repaired 9 roofs, 13 HVACs, and built 7 accessibility ramps or stairs.
Do you or someone you know need help with a simple project in or around your home? Check out the Neighbors Helping Neighbors website to see if you can share your project with local volunteers! Visit https://t.co/leaoxxA9B1 to learn more.
Community One’s team toured the @evvmuseum earlier this week. It was wonderful to see local history preserved and the work of local artists being displayed. Many thanks to their team for organizing this experience!
