@ScarcityTrade@AllStar45748042 There are 2m shortable shares on ibkr. I shorted a few and covered for 2 dollar gain since I discovered that the gap can stay wide for years. Ask your LLM about other examples where there is a gap(mine gave TSM and some indian firms)
@mkfilko@yvesstocks@BULLOFBRITAIN Can't figure why not use the money to improve production and why the decision to diversify in a boring business at a premium. After they told markets they are short on cash in April and dilluted at 25% of current price for the benefit of majority shareholder
@mkfilko@yvesstocks@BULLOFBRITAIN Any view on the shady dillution and transactions going on in the background? Diluted 15% in April for working capital at 11000(all given to majority holder) and then they buy 20b won stake in a television and construction business at 40% premium to market this month. Very strange
@DJohnson_CPA Would they report forward sales in ATM reporting style so far? No shares were issued yet, no money received(potential proceeds still with seller). So the issued shares and cash on hand would stay unchanged even if they used fwd sales. And then it's up to them to include in PR?
@DJohnson_CPA@CyborgNomad Would be funny if it leads to a small short squeeze close to the vote day when the short interest will continue to raise from now until next thursday. The forward seller will compete with regular shorts but hopefully not to a degree where borrow rate becomes a risk to SBET
@DJohnson_CPA@CyborgNomad They have a forward sales agreement in it. Higher comission and some short borrow risk, but they can continue with this workaround
@peony_king The entirely of the borrow on that micro float was micro too. Unless I'm missing something. So 200k shares short are not the "squeeze" reason IMO
@LeaderSpac you could buy Dec 10-14 spreads for $0.80-0.90 effectively getting a cost basis of ~10.8 if you want to convert to shares in a month, but capping the gains at 500% on the spread
@stocktalkweekly Even an accounting issue doesn't change the fundamental story so I'll do the same. Holding to see the reason and the actual ER. There is a lot of data to aggregate between subsidiaries and if accounting/aggregation it's the culprit they should improve it going forward
@stocktalkweekly Any strategy on stocks you are bullish on and the covered calls keep getting underwater? Like for IONQ I sold the NOV 16 strike(when commons at 13), but there is no weakness yet to buy back. Do you mitigate this somehow or just release the stock in cases like that?
@spacanpanman Is it the shorts? From this article it seems short volume is indicative of mostly a bullish sentiment for the stock(people buying the MM ASK) which is still great. The article might be wrong so I would appreciate your insight on this mechanic: https://t.co/fuNb5W50tE
@stocktalkweekly They have China connections like FFIE so the process is not as fast. SEC has a lot of comments for them and requests extra disclosures that will take a while to address

Seems some hype based on your posts @spacanpanman. He started hyping it today but don't know how much of the volume that generated
@AlanStonkson I think that there's real risk here for arbs to vote no on the extension. they probably sold CC on all their shares and at today's meeting only holders as of September vote...those are mostly arbs. If they vote to not extend they get 10+premium on NOV 7 when the trust liquidates
