@BibleInContext1 Patrick, What a shame that your testimony has been tarnished by accusations that you were never Catholic. You know how to take the wind out of those accusations? Post a screenshot of your baptismal certificate as I have done below with mine. Of course yours will show your name.😊
@BibleInContext1 Patrick, I watched the WHOLE video. I do not belong to any anti-Christian hate group. I am ONE person with ONE question. Because questions have been raised about your vitae, I am asking you to document your claim to have been a Catholic. Should be easy …🤷🏼♀️
Many Protestants believe that those who are truly born again cannot forfeit their salvation.
The baptized believers to whom Paul wrote in Galatia had “begun with the Spirit” (Galatians 3:3). Nevertheless, he warns them: “You are severed from Christ (κατηργήθητε ἀπὸ Χριστοῦ), you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace” (Gal. 5:4).
How can you “fall away” from grace if you were never in grace? How can you be “severed” from Christ if you were never united to Him?
An Oklahoma-based Cake designer Nicole created this groom's cake modelled after a stack of the groom's family Bibles. The one on the bottom is his grandfather's Bible, whereas the one on top is his father's Bible with all the handwritten notes... The entire cake is edible.

@grok can you analyze Patrick’s new defense video (responding to the plagiarism allegations) against @GuerillaLawyer’s detailed thread? Does the video actually refute the side-by-side evidence, verbatim copying, shared typos, and attribution issues — or is @GuerillaLawyer clueless? Be objective and evidence-based.
This. This right here. A person who did nothing more, nothing less than actually read the words written and made their own informed decision beyond tribalism.
I appreciate this and also the attention to notice that words were carefully chosen and are not reflected in what was in that video. You understand more law than you give yourself credit for. As I stated, I’d be happy to correct what was incorrect. Nevertheless, I will also be responding more fully shortly.
@rickbrennanjr@GuerillaLawyer@BibleInContext1 He’s a licensed attorney. I know that for a fact because I checked. You lie because you have to. It’s all you’ve got. Proving your version of “Christianity” isn’t doing much for you. 🤣
In I Kings 18, the pagans made an offering to their gods and nothing came of it.
Elijah made an offering to God: He accepted it and the faith of the people grew.
Today, I think God is calling each of us to offer Him a little sacrifice of some sort.
As you make it, trust that He’ll accept it, treasure it and make something of it that is beautiful.
Give Him yourself. Make a sacrifice of praise.

As a brother in Christ, can I make a suggestion?
Take a step back for a moment and read over every single post you have made in defense of Patrick.
Then look at the ENTIRE thread made by @GuerillaLawyer with a careful eye. Read everything that is being CAREFULLY said by him and @MrCasey62. Look at all of the posts as if you were a judge who needed to decide who would be thrown into jail purely based on evidence that is presented. Not words, but just physical evidence.
After you do all of that, you will see that one is coming with receipts and the other is just making arguments that support a narrative and have NO evidentiary substance!
MIND YOU THAT I AM NOT A LAWYER AND THE EXTENT OF MY KNOWLEDGE OF LAW IS BASED ON YOUTUBE AND MOVIES LIKE LEGALLY BLONDE and I can even see how poor your statements and his (@BibleInContext1) are based on nothing!
Remember Jesus words in Matthew 12:36-37, "I tell you, on the day of judgment men will render account for every careless word they utter; for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
As you can see, the first post in the long thread was carefully crafted. If it was false and @BibleInContext1 were to bring a "defamation" lawsuit to court, he would lose alone with the last line that reads, "You can decide for yourself." because he presented his case and evidence (receipts) fully.
@BibleInContext1 has actually been accused of something that is actually major! If these facts were compiled along with his "full money back guarantee", I am willing to bet CRIMINAL CHARGES could be brought against him at this point!
Plain and simple, he has taken FULL paragraphs of other people's writings and not put ANY footnotes or bibliography pages to demonstrate where he got that information from specifically. In academics that is CALLED PLAGIARISM! You might be reminded of the scene from Good Will Hunting in this instance. The preppy guy attending Harvard tries to embarrass the guys, but completely plagiarizes every quote and called out on them specifically by book and page number. How do you like them apples?

Catholic Fun Fact: Monsignor Georges Lemaître was a Belgian Catholic priest, theoretical physicist, and mathematician who famously formulated the Big Bang theory. He served as a diocesan priest while simultaneously working at the highest levels of modern physics, demonstrating a lifetime commitment to both religious faith and rigorous scientific inquiry.
"But surely the first step in evangelization is to see the person in front of you as someone loved by God, not as an enemy to be humiliated."
You are not in the wrong one bit. God bless you for making the effort to lead others to the gospel with love. Those who would have you humiliate them would do well to learn from St. Francis de Sales, who converted thousands:
Feeling a bit down tonight.
I’ve caught a lot of flak for defending the dignity and humanity of members of other faiths. I expected some of that. I can handle the troll accounts spewing bile; that is just the nature of this hellsite.
What has surprised me, though, is that a few large and influential accounts on my own “team” — people I have respected — have left me feeling ashamed and embarrassed in a way I have not felt in quite some time.
I have only been a revert to the faith for a few years, so maybe I am naive. Maybe I should keep my mouth shut. But tonight I spent an hour and a half talking with LDS members about Jesus. They even sat through the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary with me.
I thought that was a win.
I am not pretending our theological differences are small. They are not. I am not saying truth does not matter. It does. But surely the first step in evangelization is to see the person in front of you as someone loved by God, not as an enemy to be humiliated.
Is that not what we are meant to do?
To my Catholic family: am I in the wrong here?
Anyhow, I look forward to daily Mass in the morning. I know Christ in the Blessed Sacrament will mend this weary heart.
And yes, I know I will probably be mocked for this post too, or accused of engagement farming.
Whatever.
God bless you all. Good night.
In Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus describes the final judgment and explicitly cites acts of mercy as the reason why some inherit the kingdom while others depart into eternal punishment. If good works play no role in salvation, what is the purpose of this passage? And to whom was Jesus addressing these words? Who are the sheep, and who are the goats?
Every human being is worthy by the mere fact of having been willed, created, and loved by God. There is no situation that causes the Lord to turn His gaze away from us. It is a consoling truth that accompanies us at all times and reminds us that His merciful love always outweighs whatever good or evil we may have done. #ApostolicJourney
