Heaviest names across the corpus:
- MG Richard A. Harrison (107) — declassification recommender
- Kenneth Arnold (63) — June 24 1947 sighting
- Leonard Stringfield (49) — civilian UFO researcher under FBI surveillance
Year-distribution peak in the FBI corpus: 1947 (256 mentions), then 1952 (106), 1950 (105), 1949/1948 (66/49). Confirms the FBI 62-HQ-83894 file is the canonical 1947–1968 civilian-UFO-surveillance/investigation file.
The single occurrence of "non-human" in the entire 5.08-million-character corpus is in the 2023 Mexico cable describing Maussan's claim — State Dept reporting on a third-party claim that the cable itself notes was previously "discredited." It is not an internal US assessment.
Also odd; Apollo 11 Technical Crew Debriefing (nasa-uap-d4) carries a cover stamp: "Group 4 — Downgraded at 3-year intervals; declassified after 12 years" — meaning this material would have been automatically declassified by 1981. Already publicly available NASA archive material.
255_413270_ufo_s_and_defense_what_should_we_prepare_for.pdf is the COMETA Report — a publicly published 1999 French academic study by IHEDN, in print/online for ~26 years. Including it in a US classified-records release is unusual.
CSV has factual date errors in 2 of 3 State Dept cables. Verified against the cable headers themselves:
- Mexico cable: CSV says 2003, cable says 2023 — a 20-year typo. The cable is the 2023 "Weekly Political Blotter" mentioning Jaime Maussan's Mexican Congress "non-human bodies"
Base photos are real Apollo Hasselblads; the yellow callout boxes & "object" highlight overlays are fresh annotations. All 6 NASA "Apollo UAP" support images are 2026 Adobe Illustrator vectors, not archival photos.
TL;DR — FBI "Composite Sketch" for the 9/1/2023 U.S. sighting is internally a 12 MP DSLR photograph, edited (obviously) in Photoshop 25.6 on Windows from April 19–29, 2024, with a partially stripped edit history and a filename dated one day after the file was actually finalized.
The FBI "Composite Sketch" PDF on https://t.co/jQUd6PjBOF (file: 2024-04-30-composite-sketch.pdf, listed as a 9/1/2023 sighting). Embedded metadata says it's a 4256×2832 / 12.1 MP photograph at 300 ppi w/ a populated EXIF block — are consistent w/ a Nikon full-frame DSLR.
### Filename/title disagreement
- **D28**: PDF filename `dow-uap-d28-mission-report-east-china-sea-2024.pdf` vs Title `"DOW-UAP-D28, Mission Report, Iraq, September 2024"`. Either the PDF content is mislabeled or the row metadata is.
