Asked if Biden was wrong when he told Mack Trucks employees "I used to drive an 18-wheeler, man...I got to," the WH provided an article about Biden being a truck passenger one night in '73 and info that he used to drive a school bus. (So no claim Biden ever drove an 18-wheeler.)
A threat to an election worker is a threat to democracy. @TheJusticeDept has launched a task force that will partner with the #FBI and U.S. attorney’s offices throughout the country to investigate and prosecute threats against election workers. https://t.co/hLEmw2U674
.@SRuhle reflects on the evolution of big business over the last 25 years.
"The future may usher in a whole new set of winners and losers, technologies and visionaries. Or maybe the names will change but the story will stay the same."

All I'm gonna say is that if mask mandates in the interim aren't paired with more coercive vaccination requirements in the longterm, we're gonna stay in this cycle and I'd very much like NOT to do that.
I’ve emailed, called, texted and Facebook-messaged the person whose name is on “Dallas Justice Now” materials, without success. If you are this Michele Washington or know this Michele Washington, please feel free to email me at [email protected].
Leader Schumer on funding the Capitol Police: "All 50 Senate Democrats fully support this crucial police and security funding. All 50. Democrats are ready to go. We are eager, insistent we meet our deadline."
"We must support them now, as they so courageously supported us."
.@Sruhle: When it comes to the concentration of power and wealth, things actually seem to be getting worse, not better. #MSNBC25 https://t.co/LqqLEsgJXj
Brooks needs to testify. Who warned him there would be risks, what did they say that convinced him he needed to wear body armor, why did he nonetheless exhort the crowd to fight? (Speech isn’t protected by the 1st Am if it can incite imminent lawlessness) https://t.co/r1uubk4qlu
McConnell sounds positive on the bipartisan infrastructure deal. He called it an “important basic duty of government” that won’t please both parties and a “focused compromise.” A sign he may vote for final passage.
Many young people have asked if Cheney and Kinzinger could be the future of the GOP. I tell them it may now seem unlikely—but it’s important to make the fight, and you don’t know until you try. But this suggests how very important it is that Cheney and Kinzinger have stood tall.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal signals to the world that our democracy can function, deliver, and do big things. As we did with the transcontinental railroad and the interstate highway, we will once again transform America and propel us into the future.
Thank you for this, @KimberlyEAtkins. And shoutout to Jesus, my therapist, my group chat and my support system, without whom I may well have lost my entire mind last year. https://t.co/1Caad0yZcI
Just asked McConnell how he will vote tonight on procedural vote to open debate on infrastructure bill. “I’ll let you know,” he told me. On Fox earlier, McConnell called the bill “a work in progress.”
Every Republican in Congress should be asked two questions on the record:
1. Do you agree with @IngrahamAngle’s characterization of the January 6 law enforcement officers?
2. Will you refuse to be a guest on the show in the future?
FYI: Tomorrow I am going to the floor of the Senate to make the case for why the Biden Admin should not waive human rights conditions on security funding for Egypt.
Now is the time to show the world the U.S. is willing to act, not just preach, on human rights and democracy.
