NEW GRANT @SpauldingRehab! “Mechano-regulation of circulating extracellular vesicle cargoes to enhance knee joint health” will explore how mechanical forces shape circulating extracellular vesicles — and how these may help protect aging knees.
These findings may help advance musculoskeletal aging research, improving the lives of over 30 million older Americans affected by knee osteoarthritis.
Co-principal investigators: @IijimaHirotaka & Dr. Fabrisia Ambrosio.
Menopause speeds up cartilage aging, not just bone loss.
New research links hormone loss to joint degeneration. Findings may pave the way for future research on joint aging and menopause.
