@spacanpanman ASTS won’t purchase it outright, it’ll be a lease which allows grain to keep the spectrum. There can multiple lease holders so it likely won’t cost $6b in future payments. FCC wants this spectrum used so could be hard for a SPCX deal without current lowband capabilities.
$ASTS $TMUS - FCC has granted AST a 30-day STA to test the 7x7 MHz spectrum recently licensed by T-Mobile and sold to Grain. According to the STA, the terms of this grant are based on an agreement(s) made between AST and T-Mobile.

The part is the call credit spread (premium paid between long 80 strike and short 150) was around ~100m over ~7 years which end up being an extra ~1.4% premium paid amortised over 7 years. Total cost 1.625% + amortised premium paid
