@SwitchSATX@LAUFEYS6NS@DiscussingFilm imo stuff like the reports about working conditions are far more complicated and systemic than one person so they probably just shot for the top for PR sake, there's several dozen people that worked under her over decades who would've been involved as well
@SwitchSATX@LAUFEYS6NS@DiscussingFilm I don't disagree but it is worth noting one of them specifically references this by saying it "feels a bit off" that one of the most senior executives at Marvel would doing be interacting with low level VFX workers at all
@getyrtrouserson@damnoiseau@savbrads I can fully get behind that Sofia keeps all of those locked in a giant vault in one of their homes, I made a joke on another reply that she took notes after doing The Bling Ring that teenagers can't be trusted
@rotisforbes okay lmao I'm not trying to attack you either but opening the quote retweets on her tweet and seeing that definitely came off as hateful and you seemed to have retrospectively realized that so I don't know why you're getting defensive at someone pointing it out
@rotisforbes you felt the need to publicly quote retweet her tweet and put "wah wah wah" on it and are willing to admit it looks like you're a hater so idk what you expected
@JashornLee@ViewerAnon Yeah, I feel like they're wrestling for control of Billy and Zach's take kills any of the adopted family emotional journey bits that make the movie unique. I don't believe he's a teenager at all much less Billy, especially when we're reminded for the 30 seconds we see Asher.
@sepulworld @pushtheneedle I can't because I agree with you? I'm not sure what you're trying to back me into saying, I was "legitimately curious" because your original tweet intentionally separated the lanes into "5 lanes of cars + street parking" and I didn't know how you got to 8 when I looked back
@sepulworld @pushtheneedle "YIMBY twitter" just refers to the group of people on this website with platforms talking about transit/urban development issues, I'm not talking about the actual concept of YIMBYism
@sepulworld @pushtheneedle misinformation and how you present facts, even on the silly bird app, matter. I've had countless people at this point pretend I said the picture I posted is good even though I intentionally left the wording open, maybe a sign that people are too aggressive off the bat on here too
@sepulworld @pushtheneedle I've said I don't like how wide Alaskan Way is (and the intersection by the docks), I'm in full agreement with that. I'm just exhausted when a misleading tweet about it pops up every 3 weeks and YIMBY twitter doesn't care because "oh well close enough my point still stands"
@pushtheneedle @sepulworld like seriously there are not 8 lanes in this project, I don't think that design is good but that design is what is ACTUALLY in the project, and if you were interested in fostering information and educating people wanting to know more maybe we should tell people that?
@pushtheneedle @sepulworld you genuinely cannot think confusing people about how many lanes actually exist in the project and leading to "where are the trees??" tweets (this is not how construction works) is genuine activism right
@sepulworld @pushtheneedle the stretch along the main waterfront I posted varies from 4 to 5 (depending on that turn lane that appears towards the bottom of it), so there shouldn't be anywhere with *8* lanes unless you're talking about the street parking
@sepulworld @pushtheneedle legitimately curious but where are you counting from? as far as I'm aware the max it reaches is 6 lanes (2 transit) at the intersection for the dock that was in the original picture
