We need to bring back intellectual elitism. Sorry, but a virologist will always know more about vaccines than a yoga mommy blogger with a ChatGPT Plus subscription.
I think a lot of people are exhausted because it feels like every beautiful or useful thing eventually gets monetised, privatised, extracted, or bulldozed.
Being part of a generation that was told “Wikipedia is not a source” makes it genuinely baffling to me that jobs are now telling people to just use ChatGPT for everything.

No boomer has ever applied to 500 jobs and gotten 5 emails back and 2 interviews and no employment.
They do not understand the world that we live in. They cannot understand it, that would shatter their world view. They reflexively call you lazy to protect their view of reality.
Gen Z grew up with catchable monsters, talking sea creatures, a plumber that went to space, kids that could transform into aliens and dragons, and Minecraft.
Do you have any idea how comically evil a society has to be to make them largely anxious, unemployed, and depressed?
I don’t hate working, but I hate the concept of working 7_8 hours a day and then going home to only about 5 hours to yourself, which includes catching the bus, cooking, and getting ready for the next day. This is not life.
Well folks, there it is. They're doing it.
Any ounce of respect this company still had for Walt's legacy is practically non-existent now. It's gone.
They're coming for Walt's pride and joy. His magnum opus attraction that he loved the most.
You do not hate this company enough.
They’re taking away healthcare. AI is stealing jobs. Corporations are allowed to poison food and water again. They’re slashing education. They’re starting endless wars in multiple countries. He’s using our money to build a ballroom. He’s manipulating the market. They’re dividing the country even more with a gerrymandering war. He is taking bribes in broad daylight. And they still haven’t released the full Epstein files. This is objectively the worst and most corrupt administration in history.
Capitalism 1980: Work hard, you too can be rich.
Capitalism 2000: Work hard, and you might get a few crumbs.
Capitalism 2026: You should be willing to sacrifice yourself and ruin your health to save the economy for the top percent.
I've been saying for years that WDW needed more capacity. Tear down and replace is not expansion. It's interesting to me that they are finally admitting it, but what they are currently doing with tear down wont address the need.
You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything anymore. Everything is a subscription. Adobe, Notion, Spotify. You don't just buy things once, you keep paying every month. You literally have to pay for everything forever. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?
