| New skills for Ezenwa |

Chijioke was not the only one making the most of our time in Enugu. While our son has been heading to the mechanic after school to learn how to fix cars, Ezenwa decided to explore something new as well—learning how to fix phones.

You should have seen the smile on his face when he managed to fix his first phone all by himself (the phone of our gateman Daniel, for those who remember him). I was so proud of him; what an accomplishment!

But Ezenwa did not do it to show off or impress anyone. He simply wanted to acquire new knowledge and push his own boundaries. And even if he will not use this skill every day, he can now proudly say that he knows how to repair phones.

To me, this is a reminder that in today’s world, we don’t always need money to make money. Sometimes, all it takes is a little time and commitment to pick up a new skill. And who knows, learning something new may open up possibilities we might not have expected.
