My neighbor finished paying off her house in 2024.

She bought it in 1994 for $78,000. Thirty years of payments at $593 a month.

She's 74 now. Social Security pays her $1,910 a month. That's $22,920 a year.

The place two doors down sold for $615,000 last spring, so the county reassessed hers to match.

Her tax bill this year: $8,100. That's $675 a month.

She paid $593 a month to buy the house.

She pays $675 a month to keep it.

Thirty years of payments ended and the bill went up.

The deed says she owns it. The county bills her like she's renting.

Our leaders are fighting wars on multiple fronts at once. Israel is under siege. America is stretched thin. Ukraine is mired in what seems to be a never-ending war.

China, Russia, and Europe are opportunistic players in this global crisis.

Favor from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is our only hope.

We don’t need another congressional hearing or another speech about red lines.
We need God’s wisdom!

Let’s stop scrolling. Bow our heads and pray as the Lord leads.

Lord Jesus, grant our leaders supernatural wisdom and discernment.
Expose every lie and deception.

Protect the innocent.

Give our leaders humility and the courage to always choose light over darkness and good over evil in both domestic and foreign affairs.

I lift this petition in the name of Jesus.

In Matthew 1, Matthew tells about the generations before Jesus Christ. This is also said much earlier to Isaiah in Isaiah 7:14 thus making Isaiah's prophesy true. The Old Testament is filled with prophets speaking of the words from God, the birth of Jesus as well as other things to come even the End Times which was told by Enoch and much later given to John when he was called up to heaven while he was imprisoned on the isle of Patmos. Don't be afraid of what John tells us for if one reads not only the New Testament, not only miracles that Jesus performed but also His teachings of how to conduct oneself during our life on earth and the path to salvation. The entire Bible gives great insight into what pleases God and what doesn't relayed from Him to those who relayed His words to the people. From Jesus we learn in Mark 10:15 about Jesus being the way to the Father and in Matthew 6:19-21 "19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal; 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through or steal; 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

John 14: 2-17, "2 In my Father's house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. If I go to prepare a place for you 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye shall be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 8 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. * Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the father, and how saith, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works that these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whosoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I shall pray the Father, and he shall give you a Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you."
