Speaker of the House when it comes to New England sports. I won’t stray too far from sports here but sometimes theme parks, food & fun get in the way. Welcome!
Lot of “What-if’s” with this 2026 @RedSox team. I will take my memories at both @fenwaypark and on @NESN with me forever.
Who knows what will happen next year.
Come on Truck Day.
Thank you to @SawxSouth and @RSNStats for keeping me informed and entertained on Twitter.
@USABaseEvents Could potentially tell people before they purchase that games that MAY be held at other facilities (like Duke) will not be streamed and are not available.👎🏻
@Ringo1256@RSNStats I agree with both of your statements.
I do think though, first domino to fall….if there is one, is Cora.
Tek would be a quick, popular choice which I would relate to Morgan taking over for McNamera but I don’t know how long term that hire is.
@BallParkBuzz@Whoot1234 Totally agree on the Mayer note. He has never played a full season and it's unwise to hold all your hopes on him magically pulling 140+.
Re: 2B, a combinative effort of Romy and Sogard is not possible there? Where else would they get their at-bats? Why have them on the roster?
@tylermilliken_ Hi Tyler. Devers was never the “guy”. Got paid like the guy. Never was the guy in the room that the contract req’d him to be. The baby antics at the plate and on the basepaths, let alone bad D at 3rd.
“The single positive” is no longer having the antics, bad play, and contract.
@BallParkBuzz If you sign Bichette, likely to play 2B, who is either out there in FA or on the roster (40 man or otherwise) who you would like to see play 3rd?
@BallParkBuzz Offseason tends to mirror the regular season. It’s been March for a month. March turns to June in the blink of an eye. Think the calendar is about to turn starting Sunday.
@SawxSouth Doug from Swampscott is entitled to know the inner workings at all times! He was a season ticket holder from 1989-2002 and again from 2014-2017.
@SawxSouth My father, a post-war "Whiner Liner", sends me 12 articles a week. I do not read any of them as they are filled with "if's, but's, & maybe's". I read articles that say "Red Sox sign _____ to a 2-year...blah blah" but as we know, those are fairly limited in time & scope.
So, .02
@SawxSouth My go-to-game meal are "blackened" chicken wings from a place in the Tampa Bay area. They have very rarely let me (or us) down & usually leave enough for lunch the following day.
The problem is, trying to do this meal 3 days in a row. My exercise routine would need to be upped.
@BallParkBuzz If they somehow sign Soto but make only cursory other, "low rent" moves.... (a SP who would be 6th starter on the Blue Jays or trade Abreu AND Yoshida for a mid-inning arm to salary dump), would that be enough to make you feel excited?
And…Devers makes a terrible play that costs them a run….shortly after they discussed how he’s “had a good year at 3B defensively….”
@NESN You let go @DonOrsillo because of the “clown antics” (which no one else saw as that)
I see people that flat out lie as “clown antics”
@marksparkdaly@redsoxstats Just throwing it out there but I feel, they are batting him 2nd in the hopes that he gets 4+ AB’s to get his first hit as this is his last night on the roster. Just a feeling.
@TheAthleticBOS (Insert Team Name Here) traded for (Insert Name Here) at the deadline (in the offseason, last trade deadline, deadline before that, etc). He could've helped the Red Sox. Same baseless energy.
@RedSox haven't folded but pot getting big and they are several cards short of a flush.
