Always a pleasure to support good books, good writers, and military spouses. It's a bonus when all those things come together! @#militaryspouse#militarywriters 📕📘 🖊️🇺🇸
TY @SpouseCalls@starsandstripes for the great review of Semper Parents: Supporting Your Marine and Sharing the Journey by Mary Regner https://t.co/f63X6q0V6j
“When we first moved overseas…I began reading @SpouseCalls,” writes upcoming author @CowgirlDispatch. “Now I have the privilege of sending her an #ARC of my book!”
Terri: Hope you enjoy DISPATCHES FROM THE COWGIRL (9/13 release) https://t.co/uk2SzEtcTh #MilitarySpouse#memoir
Yes, @DavidAFrench, Divided We Fall was prescient w/caveats about polarization, fallout of political division. Recommended reading for anyone who thinks secession of any state would be anything but catastrophic: @starsandstripes

@KSPrior For me, hands down, it's the protagonist in Denis Johnson's short story "The Starlight on Idaho". Jean Valjean is a close second. Theodore in "God's Liar" by Thom Satterlee. Orual in "Till We Have Faces". Wes Carver in "Black River" by S.M Hulse.
We're excited to share today's news: The Meat and Potatoes of Life is the GOLD winner for Humor in @ForewordReviews INDIES Book of the Year Awards! Congrats @MolinariWrites@SpouseCalls@pavlicin and the entire @ElvaResa team! #bookawards

"Churches are not products to consume. They are people to whom we belong." This, from @jaykimthinks resonates in our military chaplain family. We didn't choose our congregations; we were called to them, to belong to them. Great pod, more than dicey COVID questions! @CTmagazine
I had a lot of fun asking dicey COVID-19 questions to someone as thoughtful as @jaykimthinks on Quick to Listen this week. I really recommend this episode to you all https://t.co/5hcMmu6byq
Yes, @StephKrider highlights the essential from this message about "purity culture" from @DavidAFrench ... We're not capable of solving the problem of sin. That's what Jesus did.
"... but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law ..." (Paul to the Galatians)
Evangelical divisions aren’t just theological or ideological. They’re also dispositional and temperamental. Kindness to opponents is seen as evidence of insufficient devotion to your righteous cause. My Sunday essay on Beth Moore and the hate she endured: https://t.co/6iEx46GegE
Loosely related to your terrific chicken sammy research @whignewtons: @ChickfilA manager helps SC community speed up drive-through vaccines. About time someone tapped into this CFA magic. Want fries with that? @thedispatch@DavidAFrench@postandcourier

I can't impress on people enough that this is not two crowds--the maniacs breaching the Capitol and the nice normal MAGA folks who were just there to peacefully protest. I saw exactly two people trying to deescalate while I was there. Everybody else was having a great time.
