Rainfall outlook for spring = much kinder than it was last month. Just remember though a wet spring probably won't make up for the dry July in the south. North and central grainbelt - you have been very lucky this season! #climate

July rainfall 🌧️was tough for WA & northern NSW, while it was kinder in southern NSW/VIC.
Worth nothing a large chunk of July rainfall fell in the first few days of the month, meaning the last few weeks have been dry.
Forecast shows good rains in SA/VIC/WA to start August🤞

"Pattern change — finally. 🌧️
Trough and weak low forming off the west coast Monday — dragging significant PWAT in from the north. Possible 30mm+ for Western Pilbara/Gascoyne including Exmouth. Isolated storms could push totals higher Mon/Tue.
South — decaying cold front Tuesday. Double digits SW of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay line. Heaviest 20-25mm LW and northern SW.
Later in the week a cold front is signalled by all majors — strength to be dictated by the battle between a deep southern low and continental ridging.
