You Are Eating Plastic. Every Single Day.
The science on microplastics is no longer fringe — and what it’s finding should concern every American who cares about their family’s health
"Something has quietly entered your body that was never meant to be there. It’s in your blood. It’s in your lungs. Scientists have now found it in human brain tissue, in the placenta, in the hearts of patients who just had strokes. It’s plastic. Microscopic plastic particles. And the emerging science suggests we should all be paying very close attention.
This is not a fringe concern or a conspiracy theory. In just the past two years, a wave of peer-reviewed research has moved microplastics from an environmental footnote to a serious public health conversation. And for those of us who have been asking hard questions about what is in our food, our water, and our environment, the findings are sobering. Not surprising, but sobering."...

Another one of these "different" outlooks we don't see often from the SPC. 'Elevated' fire danger for Wednesday thanks to low relative humidity, gusty winds and dry conditions. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged.
Sofia earned the Haslam scholarship yesterday! She was ONE OF 15 students rewarded out of 1700 applicants ACROSS THE COUNTRY!✨
Sofia was also just accepted to Brown University!🌟
Team CHS, our scholars are dreaming BIG DREAMS! Oh, the places they will go!🌠

From NWS Nashville - Temperatures will be mild and above-normal through this week. There are low chances for showers or storms tonight and Friday. Otherwise, the week will be dry.
SUPPORT LOCAL MEDIA: There were times at state when there was hardly any media interviewing players & coaches. And it's hard not to think of a future where no media is there. So wherever you are, support your HS media. Make sure they're around. Don't just assume they will be.
Super nice weekend ahead, a good time to review safety as we move into PEAK SEVERE WEATHER SEASON. Where will you go and how will you protect yourself during tornadoes and extreme winds? Now is the time to make a plan and practice! #SafePlaceSelfie Day coming soon!
SCAM ALERT: FAKE FEDERAL COURT DOCUMENTS
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about a recent fraud attempt involving fake legal documents sent by email.
A concerned citizen reported receiving an email containing what appears to be an official federal court document claiming they had failed to appear in court and must post bail through a Sheriff’s Office to avoid arrest.
Let’s be clear, this is a scam.
These documents are NOT legitimate and contain multiple red flags:
• Poor grammar and misspellings throughout the document
• Vague or incorrect agency names and case information
• Instructions to pay “preemptive bail” before any arrest
• Pressure tactics designed to create fear and urgency
Law enforcement and the courts do not operate this way. You will never be asked to pay bail or fines through email, and official court actions are not handled through unsolicited messages.
What you should do:
• Do not respond to the email
• Do not send money or provide personal information
• Report the incident to your local law enforcement agency
• Delete the message
If you receive something like this and are unsure, call us directly before taking any action.
Scammers count on panic. Take a breath, make a call, and verify.

Concerning the tornado warning last night for Maury and Williamson Counties...NWS survey today found a tornado track with EF-1 damage. The tornado lifted just before reaching Spring Hill and crossing into Williamson County. Thing got close, y'all. https://t.co/oKthqVN1Dt
