My friend went shopping at D-Mart. There she liked a water bottle that had a price of ₹149 written on it and it was available on offer.

She thought the bottle would cost only ₹149, so she added it to her shopping cart without thinking much. But when she reached the billing counter and got the bill in her hand, her eyes fell on the price and she was shocked.

In the bill, the price of the same bottle was shown as ₹300.

She immediately rechecked the price on the packet and the bill amount. Seeing such a big price difference, it was difficult for her to understand at what price the product was actually being sold to the customer.

So while shopping at D-Mart or any big retail store, don't buy products just by looking at the price displayed on the shelf. At the time of billing, be sure to match the MRP, offer price, and final billing amount.

A little caution can save you from spending extra money for no reason. ??
