St Nicholas School and Parents have currently raised nearly £600 for Turkey and Syria - thank you all so much. Your donations will be sent to the Disaster Emergency Committee for distribution where needed most.
Having finished as one of the two top teams in the league the school team took part in the EPFL School Champions Cup Semi Final fixture. The school team did themselves, spectators and the school proud against tough competition and came away as the 3rd placed team. Well done team!
Pupil Chaplains supported volunteers from Rougemont Class to arrange the flower donations in readiness for our May Crowning Liturgy on Friday 20th May. Thank you to all who donated flowers.
As part our Birds in Trees Art topic and Living things in Habitats Science topic, year 3/4 were visited by Martin from North Devon Falconry. We spent the afternoon with him and his birds learning about their lives in the wild, how to look after and train and perform with birds.
This year our year 5/6 football team have taken part in an Exeter Tournament, playing 20 Exeter Schools. They have shown huge commitment, and been a credit to the school. They have won or drawn every game, and are in the Semi-Finals on Monday. Well done and good luck to the team!

Way of the Cross Prayer Stations
The Pupil Chaplains and Mustard Seeds children worked with our School and Parish Chaplain to transform a Room into a prayer space for the Way of the Cross. Each class will spend time praying and reflecting together on Jesus' journey to his death.
Thank you Exeter City coaches for coming to run a taster session for #LetGirlsPlay to inspire girls in England to play football. The KS2 girls have had a great time learning skills and playing matches and it has been great to see so many girls so motivated to try something new!
Well done to St Nicholas School football team who triumphed in the EFL Utilita Kids Cup football tournament. They will go on to represent Exeter City in the next stage in Swindon, after training sessions with Exeter City Football Club.
