@TheHungerer@TheEXECUTlONER_ Odd that you think that only the hands-on part of production counts. Destressing helps a person become more productive, plus a lot of people think through future plans for projects and such.
@RachelVT42 They may have chosen to use Presidents' Day as their actual training day. Most states require a certain number of hours of education for daycares for CPR, child development, etc.
@TheHungerer@TheEXECUTlONER_ Unproductive? At baseline a one-mile walk is exercise, but who does "nothing" during a walk? You're breathing fresh air, generally destressing, thinking about past or future problems and solving things, etc.
@chicagotechmom Our school designates a theme every year and the teachers often decorate around it (like Learning is an Adventure). My kids absolutely love their classrooms.
@lyajohan@KarenLuvs2Read@AmericanGidget@MarvelTeacher2 Don't get paid for lunch that the clock automatically deducts and I rarely get a chance to take, but it's actually a lot of work to go in and prove I didn't take it.
This lunch finance debate is like talking to my pre-teen. Suggestions are made and people come back with every excuse why they can't eat cheaper than a $28 lunch.
@_nomadic_soul This discourse is funny. The comments are "you're not eating enough," and "that's not a meal." Other posts: "my god... people eat too much food." There's no winning.
