@simcha1972 @nua_peasant How did you avoid it? I work medsurg so we have a lot of elderly patients and yes, sometimes it's 20-45 minutes. The other day I spent 3 hours (1 hour each meal) of my shift feeding a 1:1 patient because we were short on CNAs.

@MrsDeCamp @HannahWardEdu We did it at bedtime and then just randomly throughout the day. During the day you might get just a couple of minutes before they run off, but at bedtime they get mom snuggles and to "stay up a few minutes longer."

@HannahWardEdu I was kinda sad when my kids stopped wanting me to read to them, which was basically when they learned to read. Granted it's "boring" to read the same story over and over for weeks, but the benefits were numerous and they all LOVE reading!

@Alec_Zeck Person climbs fence and gets cut by fence. We can trace the infected cut's bacteria to the same bacteria on the fence. We can tell if someone has the same type of bacteria for hospital-acquired pneumonia. C-diff is easily traceable.
