I never post to X anymore but last night we watched the 1979 Chuck Norris film “A Force of One” and I want to let you know that while it was most definitely not good, I also have no regrets. 🙏
One time, while rushing from the Coliseum to catch a BART train in the middle of a game (I had a conflict, ok!), I got cat-called with, “You look like a business woman!” by a young man with an innocent smile. Iconic. I’ll never recover from that east bay charm.
@khjamieson@clhubes Same! Dutch crunch is my fav. Didn’t know it was regional until recently. I should have known something was up when I was eating it with a friend from PA and she said it’s, “weird she’d never heard of it before given that it’s called Dutch crunch and she’s from Dutch Country.”🤣
big secret to happiness is just liking stuff. finding more stuff to like. finding ways to like stuff you didn’t before. recognizing what it feels like to like something and doubling down on that. what feels frivolous is actually the whole ballgame
I don’t have much to add to the discourse around the end of San Francisco’s #AnchorBrewing, except to say that on a tour of the brewery several years back I had a guide that kinda looked like Ryan Gosling and I think about that often.
