Now he sits as Chancellor of the Exchequer, the pound has crashed, and it is reported that Odey's hedge fund has increased 145% on bets against UK government bonds.
Tragic news

Question I'd like all potential Conservative leaders to answer (RT if agree)
The energy price cap's predicted to rise 64% in Oct taking a typical bill to £3,244/yr; & rise again in Jan to £500/yr more than when May's help package was announced. What'll u do to avoid this & when?
The full state pension is £185/wk so £9,620/yr.
A typical ENERGY bill (not mortgage, not rent) from Oct is likely to be OVER a third of that (and many older people will have higher than typical use.
NEWS:
I feel sick writing this!
