Today we were told about a Veteran down on his luck in Eccles.
All he needed was a phone so within an hour our Chairman @AltyDaz took him his spare one.
Met Yvonne who told us about him him. He suffers from #ptsd does not drink smoke or do drugs and has somewhere to live no job.

Sooo. Today I made some more mugs for Trafford Veterans for their guests... but a very special one for a WW2 veteran who was 97 years young!

Tonight two of our Veterans visited 14th Sale Scouts as they were making Poppies out of the bottom of plastic bottles.
They both gave a short talk about their service and then helped them make the Poppies.
A totally enjoyable evening thanks to them for inviting us.
