Whenever politics starts dictating medicine, patients are the ones who pay the price.

It is astonishing to see people with no medical training confidently telling experienced obstetricians and Gynaecologists how to manage a woman in labour.

Medicine is built on years of study, clinical training, evidence, and accountability Not assumptions or political opinions.

If you want to influence clinical decisions, first earn the knowledge and training that medicine demands ( Do HEC or Mature entry and study Medicine since you are highly interested)

Respect expertise. Protect patients.

This minister knows nothing about what happens in these hospitals.
Buying supplies is a daily routine or else patients won't receive services
It's because govt provides not the enough supplies and medicines.
Govt supplies get finished in less than 2 weeks after delivery

The very unfortunate bit of this is that mother who will come at 2am brought by a well wisher and she has obstructed labour and no supplies on ward (which ofcourse is a routine) and she will have to “wait” for the supplies from the govt to come with fetal distress and uterine rupture.

How i wish you were making all this noise with a mic attached to your chest, breaking all ethical guidelines including patients privacy by advocating for increased govt expenditure in the hospitals because, these showbies will hurt the patients more than you can actually imagine.
