@JGrossund My pool coach’s go to when this happens is for her to say “let’s play for $100 game”. She’s dead serious. I haven’t seen anyone take her up on it yet but looking forward to seeing it.
@InternetH0F Instead of taxes we should just get together with our neighbors and pool some money and resources for things we want as a group, like clearing the road, some teachers and maybe firefighting equipment.
@e_galv (C) I’m a scientist at heart so always consider it. I make hypothesis and find ways to prove myself wrong. So I’d apply the same strategy. Sometimes twitter information is easily proven wrong. I’m an engineer by profession. I love discussing crazy ideas because rules aren’t real
@sohelpmejesseca I think it’s a statistics problem. After highschool and college we just aren’t exposed to the quantity of people anymore. Friends circles stabilize. I don’t have an answer. I found a whole new circle by joining a pool league team, so new great friends but no one I hit it off with
@RebelSpiritTM Yikes, hard neither. I don’t want to read the mind of anyone I care about. Probably the fastest way to ruin a relationship. Even if all the thoughts are good and encouraging how can you grow a relationship and build trust in that situation?
@RebelSpiritTM Found your Twitter a few weeks ago and one of my favs. 6 months ago I was what you are asking for. But in Feb my best friend passed and I took my hands off the controls. Funny thing is I learned I wasn’t living as close to the edge as thought. Interesting last 5 months spiraling.
@NoContextHumans I keep reading “look up Order of Ops and apply literally to get 9.” I’m an engineer and every colleague & college prof would get 1. In real life practice nothing b/w brackets and # means do it first. To divide first, it’s 6/2•(1+2). And by using x, not • you’re outing yourself
@WarrenHiggins10 @Assumed37@NoContextHumans This. I keep reading “when you look up Order of Ops and apply literally you get 9.” I’m an engineer for 17 yrs and every colleague & college prof would get 1. In real life practice nothing b/w brackets and # means do it first. And nobody would write “2 x (“ , it would be “2 · (“
@JetBlue@enchiladaman100 I’m in the same boat. Mosaic for past 8 years or so. Missed mosaic this year by 218 points. Never received the email and actually thought I made it until mid January. I would have bought them. Currently on my 15th segment for 2023 on JetBlue.
