I first bought crypto in 2016. I personally have never been burned by "stablecoins," but I've seen countless stablecoins depeg, or DeFi projects get hacked, and the coins become worthless. The 7% yield is coming from lending; they lend out coins to someone else. None of it is insured. Good luck
