These rocks (marine #limestone and #mudstone) were uplifted during the 2016 #earthquake. According to @NASA, the earthquake lifted the seabed by 0.5 to 2m along a 20km stretch

@carey_davies That’s so interesting! I just saw a ton of willowherbs yesterday in the Canadian Rockies (not sure what species, very bad with plants), and was wondering why they are only partially blooming.
