@raymondcamden @BenNadel It solves the problem of needing to rewrite if(!globals.init everywhere, any intervals testing against it in an asynn scenario etc. As for scheduling https://t.co/hGnGVYRzZr. Just in include a second param in the Cron expression
@raymondcamden @BenNadel That withapp method will queue the methods at runtime awaiting the completion of the potentially async global init, and executes them in order, flushing the queue on resolve. If the globals are already init, the methods run immediately
Probably doesn't help that the AWS API is throwing PasswordResetRequiredException instead of ChallengeName: string = "NEW_PASSWORD_REQUIRED"; .....
Turns out the answer for this is, the user must be forced to run the forgot-password process

Has anybody solved for signIn rejecting with { Code: "PasswordResetRequiredException" } instead of calling newPasswordRequired in AuthCallbacks? I'm almost ready to create a new createCognitoUser to get a user for password reset.

@raymondcamden You have given so much to the community that it is easy to forget that you are a human, not just a machine. There is no need to apologise for being human.
How is it that nobody noticed Twitter logs were storing plain text passwords until now. It just goes to show that no matter how big and wealthy a company, no matter how tech oriented they are, do not put anything into an input field you would not want published
We learned a few things from the Southwest Airlines accident recently but the most concerning of all is that people literally choose Snapchat and Twitter over oxygen.
