I'm sick of the law doing fucking nothing to constrain these pieces of shit and then doing this legalistic judgment bullsh on people who are forced to deal with it themselves. Fuck off with this shit until you got the fucking psychos under contol.
Eventually as demographics shift stuff like Trick or Treat will go away entirely. Theres lots of small things like this that rely on so many unwritten rules and a degree of societal cohesion we dont have anymore. Would your parent have stolen candy from a neighbor? Of course not.
i know i keep shitting on this particular clip but i can't get over the fact that someone thought these characters were "badass" and some idiot over at sony thought THIS was going to make them a shit ton of money
@ALegendaryDrops Jason Schreier and the insiders who still follow him represent all the negative forces that fed off body of gaming over the past decade.
They conjured a horrific fiction of reality where all unlike them were evil, took total control of gaming, and all of gaming fell with them.
This is what pisses me off about the “old guard” gaming YouTubers. Many of them convinced themselves something like activism & politics were not taking over videogames
And even when it so blatantly was happening they pretended it wasn’t cause they didn’t want to lose access to free codes or get blacklisted.
And things got SO BAD so quickly it naturally led to where we are now. Yet someone like an AngryJoe has the audacity to still pretend like what’s happening isn’t cause they still don’t want to be blacklisted
Thankfully things are changing but I’m disappointed in them nonetheless
There is really only one scene that is just Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan sitting down in the conference room discussing the trade dispute. It is about 20 seconds long, and it basically consists of the Jedi being served drinks by the protocol droid, Obi-Wan commenting on how long the Neimoidians are keeping them waiting, and Qui-Gon saying that he senses "an unusual amount of fear for something as trivial as this trade dispute."
Then we cut to Darth Sidious appearing for the first time to the Neimoidians, contemptuously upbraiding one of them for his cowardice (remember? he calls him "stunted slime"), and then ordering the Neimoidians to kill everyone immediately.
Then we cut to the Republic pilots panicking as a gun emplacement suddenly swivels toward them, right before the transport is blasted apart in a huge, fiery explosion--at which point we cut instantly to the Jedi in the conference room suddenly leaping up and dramatically activating their lightsabers.
This is essentially all there is of the boring trade dispute talk in conference rooms that supposedly had people falling asleep in their theater seats. There's like a single twenty-second scene. Obviously that scene is given a relatively calm and uneventful vibe (though with hints of something maybe being not quite right), because it is supposed to provide a contrast to the sudden carnage inflicted at the command of Darth Sidious, which causes the Jedi to instantly leap out of their seats and spring into action.
This is literally good pacing.
not the same thing at all
sunrise is a rebuild of an old version of the game running on the old engine, unvaulting is rebuilding DCV content from scratch to be compatible with the current engine
if you’re going to call people incompetent at least know what you’re talking about
