@Short_Box ... under the circumstances. I don't understand how such stupidly offensive, hateful, dangerous shit gets published in the first place. That needs to be addressed as well, by all of us.
@Short_Box I'm sorry that, after suffering from the hate put out there by people like Frank Miller, you are having to carry so much of the weight of representing those against him. TB should be ashamed, but it shouldn't be on you alone to make them see that. I hope you're doing okay...
@sbasdeo1@PALillie @JMCammish @AyoCaesar I'm glad, but I would say that's fair rather than generous, considering the amount of time and money that a PhD researcher has to have invested to get to that level of their careers. Especially when/if there are limitations to the amount we are allowed to work.
@PALillie @JMCammish @sbasdeo1@AyoCaesar You likely know that these things are standardised across institutions. If not then are you in a position to argue about what's happening in them right now? Isn't it more childish to assume someone is lying about their own experience because it doesn't match your narrative?
I recently read the unpublished epilogue to Lord of the Rings, a chapter framed as a conversation between Sam Gamgee and his daughter. It is really beautiful and bittersweet so I illustrated it! You can read it as a scroll here:
