June 3rd marks 12 years since Fr. Ragheed Ganni, a Chaldean priest of Mosul, Iraq, was martyred along with 3 sub-dcns for refusing to close his church.
Asked by the gunmen why he did not to close his parish he answered: “I cannot close the house of God.” Fr. Ganni, pray for us!
