Now at the hospital she will undergo treatment and intensive care in order to pull her back.

Today I’m writing the acknowledgments and dedication for #CoraLael1 before doing a final read-through.
And it keeps hitting me: I’m doing this for my very first crime novel, the book I thought might never happen. It’s amazing.
Never give up on the stories that refuse to leave.
She has now been successfully released! 🦊
Her mange and wounds had been treated and she didn’t have any problems gaining weight.
She is now in the process of being soft released in beautiful location and hopefully will have a great life back in the wild.
Just had my royalty statement from @HarperCollinsUK (always lovely!) When #FairytaleOfNewYork was published I said I’d be over the moon if it just sold a few copies. 12 years on, seeing my first six books still finding new readers across the world is the most magical thing. 🥰
Let us round off Research Week with a shout out to some of the people who help Alopecia UK fulfil the research aim of our charity. Thanks to our Research Committee (pictured), our Lay Panel, those who volunteer to take part in studies and our donors and fundraisers! 💙
'I’m Shaama & I’ve had Alopecia Universalis since I was 6 years old. As a child I wore headscarves but from the age of 18 I have worn a wig. I’ve found alopecia hard, but I am starting to love myself.
I like keeping fit & enjoy eating, reading & a good Netflix binge. This is ME!'
So here it is…

'I am Adam. I lost all my hair 6 years ago. I am almost always seen in my staple 'Under Armour' cap. I find comfort in wearing caps and have since shaving my remaining hair. I am into photography. You might find me at the top of a mountain, cap on & camera in hand.
This is Me.'
