Finance Director/husband/father/unkindled. Believer in immutable, objective reality. I run a bit, speak Welsh a bit, and hunt big game and small animals.
@OliverKamm@Conservatives I've not claimed you are but just the other day you were lecturering ARM on forgiveness and here you are again pontificating using pseudo theological language on forgiveness. You don't have to forgive him but spare the rest of us your sled righteous bloviating.
@OliverKamm@Conservatives If you're going to use theological language better not to spout theological crap. Of course one doesn't have to forgive him at all but spare me the self righteous religious stuff. It's clear your understanding of Christian theology is exactly zero.
@bromleyfc All well and good but the small away allocation tucked in one corner is an asset for us and the marginal revenue gain from a few extra fans will be dwarfed by retaining league 1 status. We should use whatever weapons are permitted.
@LeoCPFCTrains@CPFC_Cosmo Hilarious and disturbing in equal measure to watch the antisemites grapple with whether or not he is sufficiently Jewish to be a legitimate target of their poison.
@michaelgove I've never heard him and the way he is getting on his high horse is pretty funny so I say ignore his crying. Am I to take to take it that he has previously expressed support for the country's most notorious academic fraud? Says all you need to know.
@MForstater I wish it were extraordinary. Alas, this kind of science-denying idiocy remains par for the course for the intellectually challenged left. It's hard to know of she really is stupid enough to believe what she says or if it's just virtue-signaling, but the end result is the same
@OliverKamm@Zatsi@CrewkerneMan Orthodox Christian doctrine would say that if he has truly repented, he is forgiven by God, who has an apparent habit of using some truly awful people for his ends. Presumably you would have rejected Paul or David as being suitable to hold any public role?
@paullewismoney This is an unbelievably ill educated comment from a person who purports to know about money and some basic research on the adverse impact of SD would explain why.
@Chris_Docherty1@Normanjam67 Oh dear, another person who can't understand provocative humour. Of course you're a retired 'academic'.Probably in the social 'sciences'... Enjoy your righteous indignation.Rod wouldn't have given a shit when he was alive.Happily, his work lives on. More than van be said for you
@theJeremyVine I don't know about the 'be kind' brigade. I think it's mainly self righteous morons, mostly bitter about Rod being more successful than them. Being unable to discern when Rod was being serious and when he was on a windup is a failsafe marker of the moron.
@AllisonPearson Alas that Rod should leave us while apologists for depravity and supported of terrorism abide. Rod will enjoy the I irony of watching him be cast into hell when the day comes.
You clueless bureaucratic cunt. Starship floats because it just nailed a controlled soft landing on purpose, you dense fucking paper-pusher. Your EU Space Commission couldn't launch a paper plane without seventeen environmental reviews and a diversity quota. Crawl back to your compliant startup graveyard and choke on the irrelevance.
@LoftusSteve@EngineerLondon In theory this would be true if everyone was totally rational and their interests were aligned with their employer with way hiring and firing. In practice, there are other factors that operate as well because people are not rational and tend to do what's best for them.
@GBPolitcs Since when had the Labour Party ever found it difficult to take from the hard working to support the feckless. It's the entire purpose of the party.
@Miss_Snuffy@LucyMPowell They go on about the world of work despite mostly having never worked in the private sector nor asked us what we need from employees. Hint: knowledge is the foundation upon which practical skills are built. I'm not hiring someone who can't spell or add up.
@paulmasonnews Robotics combined with AI may render most these supposedly valuable hands on skills worthless in the fullness of time. But if not, given there will be a massive increase in the labour supply for these jobs, hard to see wages rising.
