Brilliant gain in a three-way marginal by @BCPGreens π Great campaign from the local party that shows how much potential there is for even more in the future!

@DrSextonGreen @dr_musgrave 100% this. Over the years I've had some GPs who were great, but unfortunately some who were awful. Those who were dismissive/unsupportive set me back a lot. They shouldn't be anywhere near patients given how much longer lasting damage they can do.
@BBCPanorama People are desperate for help and being failed by health services, but your framing is all about undermining the condition in the first place. Your choice of words is deliberate, you know exactly what you're doing, and how much harm you're causing. You should be utterly ashamed.
Labour letting the Tories keep control of Cherwell District Council!
Official staement from the Green Party on Cherwell District Council
βWe are bitterly disappointed that after a huge amount of work, negotiation and compromise between our parties, Labour have...

The Greens are talking to (and winning) voters that otherwise wouldn't vote in a local election. That ruins expectations/targeting for the main parties, demanding new strategies.
They have upended the apple cart, and unlike UKIP, are pushing up turnout. https://t.co/oldsf2Nxti
I am SO disappointed in @UKLabour for abstaining on a vote that would have delayed the #IllegalMigration Bill by at least a year, probably forever. They talk of 'improving' the Bill, and many of us will try, but it is tweaking at the edges of appallingly cruel plans for refugees.
@MJBrewin Oh wow, that's such a tough result! It must be so difficult to have got so close. Still, it shows your hard work really had a massive impact, and lots of people in your ward were inspired by your campaign.
A quick message for all the Green candidates who weren't successful this time:
You rock. Seriously, you're completely and totally awesome. I'm so inspired by anyone who steps up to run as a target candidate, that takes huge guts and commitment. I know you've worked so hard 1/?
When UKIP won 166 councillors (but no councils) in 2014 the BBC called this a "political earthquake".
@TheGreenParty just gained 200 councillors, taking the total to 737, took control of a council & became the biggest party in several others.
But 0 Green guests on #bbclaurak.
@CameronPalin Oh wow, 4 votes is a brutal margin. I think that must be much harder than being 100 votes away. I'm glad you're feeling better about it now - clearly lots of people in the ward were very impressed!
