At Rays Yankees. Game 3. Just had a fun one on one interview with @Ry_Bass. Amazing guy.

Rays fans are few and far between here but we will try and hold our own.

@RaysTheRoofTB @BGHotRods When I moved from Tampa area to the northeast… I saw Montgomery play in Jacksonville. Durham at home and rays in Baltimore in 3 consecutive days.

Rays (and affiliates) won all 3. Was awesome.

Have fun! Love your content

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@247Rays @kenbabby Yes. But make it Brett Phillips doing it on the dugout.

Atleast that would have been cool to see yesterday.

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@RefObserver17 Keith Kimble is my favorite official to watch. If I had to pick one official to have young learning referees watch.. it would be him. Mechanically and game calling are both at the top of the list.

Groover and Kimble are two I expect to be at nearly every final four

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@RefObserver17 I’m at the games in Tampa. Safe to say Curry won’t be one of your picks to advance Sunday.

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@RefObserver17 One of your favorites in Gaffney (rightfully so) and two Florida based officials in Vlad and Chris. Both of which I have worked with. Glad to see Merlo get some good games in big 12 this year. Calm steady guy. Good crew.

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@Flewellen727 I was the batboy (visiting side) during that. Started with I believe Andy petitte being (scratched). Longoria got plunked by a no body. Then that happened. I had a good view of Johnny running in from right. Some fun memories

@TBRaysCentral And then at times it looks like a front hip two seamer to lefties? 92-93. Doesn’t look like his changeup to me.

Have you noticed this too?

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@TBRaysCentral I like that he is still trying to find it, especially as a pitch to righties. It’s weird to see him go from mainly a fastball slider guy to his curveball now being his put away pitch to both sides.

Hope he can re-find the slider to continue his climb to stardom

[Jon Heyman @JonHeyman]

Scherzer deal: $15.5M

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@darby_robinson When I saw lineup.. I said Brandon wouldn’t see a strike all game. I was wrong. And I was wrong.

Happy to be wrong.

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@RaysTheRoofTB Several good outfielders to consider.

Carson Benge
Ryan Waldschmidt
Seaver King and
Vance Honeycutt all intrigue me.

Pitchers. William Schmidt is fun. He can really spin it well

Ryan Sloan and Brody Brecht should be available as well.

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@amullin836 Changeup was finally a focus pitch for him. Threw it early and often. Mixed in a few curveballs as well which could become a weapon too. Pep and Bradley arsenal both similar and deadly. No matter what happens this year… watching those two become elite will be fun!

[Steve Wynocker @SteveWynocker]

@amullin836 Same with the cutter to Santander. Great location. Ridiculous result. His stuff looks great yet again. Just weird results first two innings.

Last two games his “misses” are being pulled in to lefties instead of up and away to lefties. Love that 👍
