@theiaincameron@AndrewCohill Have a little look at the Central Pangean Mountains and the international Appalachian Way. USA, Scotland and Morocco. I think this is a great fact, but I am quite peculiar.
@theiaincameron I imagine there will be some good depths in the top of the Bizzle and Hen Hole. Easterly to South easterly winds stripping one side and dumping it on the other. A trip awaits for me. I can’t imagine what the depths must be like on Corrie of Lochnagar.
@Official_WXUK 7 miles from the coast and at 125m AOD in Northumberland, it would not be much better than for you southern folk. But on a plus, for us at least, we do see the odd 8-12 inch once every 5 years or so.
@Cornish_Weather@Official_WXUK Storm Arwin did similar to Northumberland. Horrible. Long road ahead I’m afraid, we still have woodland down now from 2021
@Wyefarm@DaveThroup@BlackM1710 So the aim is for malting quality and not food production? I don’t agree with most of what this government is proscribing but I struggle to support the movement - “No Farmers, No Food” when a lot of arable farmers around my way simply aim for malting standards. Enlighten me 🙏🏼
