@tomkektv Sure, but the flipside of that is public discourse, which. from my experience in the work I do, is almost universally 100% unrelated to what the general population of a given game/group actually wants. The "Loud Minority" is a very real thing.

Makes zero sense to make a WoW2 when it would just cause millions to go "nah" and bye bye money

@x42dsx @TravisV_YT Eh, if they've already got a Steam account and games on it(Which I feel is the target demographic for the Machine), then a PS5 Pro is worthless, because you'd need to buy all your games again. This isn't positioned to fight Consoles, but to get your existing games on the TV

@priestgf @cydristrasz This wasn't the apology, this was the result from the apology. The apology was an internal Slack channel where (generally female) employees could raise concerns about items and content in the game that they had an issue with, and they took steps to rectify those issues

@MissMixi @JunnieVT It's an automatic system, it detects periods of unusual review activity and hides them. It works both ways, both hiding low effort "Fuck this company for using AI" reviews on Party Animals, and also Chud Right Wing "Game garbage so woke" reviews on Slay the Spire 2

@idisxiu Yup, absolutely. And while I get that some part of that is content bloating to make P5X longer to complete, I do appreciate having big Palaces to explore and fight through.

@idisxiu It's always a sobering/despair moment when you pick up a map inside a P5X Palace and see the 10000 square meter warehouse maze you're gonna need to clear 🥲 Game is good, and it feels like a "lobster too buttery" moment, but it's still overwhelming
