Hey guys, did you know you can prove your skills and results without revealing the key secrets of your work? ️
In this thread, I want to show you a powerful extension tool that lets you share insights without sharing the raw data by using the C2D tech from @oceanprotocol.
(A bit long and technical, but trust me, it's worth it) 🧵👇
Your GPU was always infrastructure. Now there's a second place to point it, one that pays you based on what your hardware can actually do.
AI compute is where the next decade of demand is going, and the network for it already exists.
Run a node on Ocean Network. Your hardware gets benchmarked weekly across GPU, CPU, and bandwidth, and your score determines your share of a 2,000 $USDC weekly pool.
You didn't buy a GPU to sit on the sideline of the biggest infrastructure shift in AI: https://t.co/UeCz7v7NVH
The real moat in AI is compute orchestration.
Routing workloads across a peer-to-peer network, coordinating distributed supply, abstracting infra complexity, and turning fragmented compute into a usable execution layer with pay-per-use economics.
A layer Ocean Network already built.
Spending the last weeks by integrating Solana into DiScore for the hackathon.
At the same time, DiScore is monitoring the servers and users.
One thing became obvious very quickly: as Discord communities scale, understanding what’s actually happening inside them gets much harder.
Curious if @mattytay has thought about this problem too.
We're opening a few spots for Ocean Network ambassadors. Step in and help shape how the world accesses compute.
1. What you'll do: Take something complex and make it click. Break down how Ocean Network turns compute into a commodity and peer-to-peer verifiable computation into a global market. Use your format: videos, tutorials, infographics, X carousels. Show up where real conversations are happening.
2. How it works: You apply, we review, you get into a private Discord, pick your first task, and you're in. From there, it runs in monthly cycles: you create, submit, and keep building.
3. Rewards: Your work earns points based on quality, reach, and engagement. The better your content performs, the bigger your share, with bonuses for top contributors.

If we go back 20 years, AWS didn’t really get much attention when it launched. Cloud computing seemed like a niche idea back then. Today, it powers a huge part of the internet. Personally, I didn’t pay attention to it at the time either.
But if we had known where it would lead, how fundamental cloud infrastructure would become, we’d probably look at it differently. That’s exactly why it makes sense to pay attention to what’s emerging now, especially in AI.
Right now, we’re seeing a similar shift in AI infrastructure. @ONcompute is moving toward a distributed compute model without a single controlling entity or dependency on one provider.
Why? Compute should feel like a utility. Like electricity. You don’t think about how it’s produced, you just use it.
So ez.. You pick a node, send a job, get a result. No server setup, no contracts with big cloud providers. Instead of one company running everything, it’s a network of independent machines operating as one system.
As Discord grows, it becomes harder to understand what’s actually happening.
In one server most messages got 0 replies, a small group drove most discussions and off-topic activity dominating.
From the outside - “active”. In reality - low interaction.
With DiScore you see:
- which conversations actually matter
- what and who people respond to
- where it’s just noise
Same Discord. Different understanding.
People keep asking if running a node is worth it…
Short answer - yes, if your GPU isn’t just sitting idle.
2,000 $USDC weekly
You’re not farming points here, you’re getting paid for actual compute.
Set it up once - pass benchmarks - get consistent jobs - scale earnings.
If your GPU is already running but not connected, it’s just sitting there doing nothing, while others are earning with the same setup.
Ocean Network Incentives are live 🥳
GPU owners, this one's for you, and oh, it's good 👀
We're putting 2,000 $USDC into the weekly reward pool for nodes laying the foundation of our peer-to-peer compute network for AI & ML developers globally.
It's time to put your GPU to work🧵

One of the hardest problems in growing a Discord community - finding people you can trust with responsibility.
Usually this process looks like:
- Observe chat
- Ask team members
- Look at 50 useless "activity" charts
Because of proven effectiveness, candidate discovery becomes much more obvious.
With DiScore, you can see who:
- Understands & uses your product
- Fits your ideal user profile
- Actually brings value
Instead of guessing - you shortlist.
Want to try compute jobs without spending anything?
Right now, Ocean Network is offering $100 in free compute credits for early users.
Here’s how to get it:
Step 1
Go to https://t.co/MLlQwCrncR and connect your wallet.
Step 2
Open your wallet menu and click “Claim grant tokens.”
Step 3
Fill out the form.
Step 4
Enter the verification code sent to your email.
After that, just follow the instructions from the email and complete the remaining steps.
That’s it - you’ll have credits to start testing and running your first jobs.
If you try it, curious to hear how your first run goes 👀
We’ve all seen the rise of GPUs and the demand for compute, but there still isn’t a clean alternative to how we access them today
In practice it looks like this: you get access to a machine, then you deal with SSH, environments, drivers, random setup issues and only after that you can actually run something like inference or data processing
And we’ve also seen how fragile centralized infrastructure can be large cloud providers, including AWS and Google, being part of critical global attack surfaces. It just highlights how valuable and sensitive this layer has become
The question is simple why do we still accept all this complexity between us and compute?
Thtas why I like @ONcompute
Ocean Network removes that layer
You choose a node, select resources, and submit a containerized job. No server management, no environment setup. You just run workloads - inference, embeddings, batch processing, fine-tuning - and get results back
The difference is not the GPUs themselves, but the way access to them is structured
And yes, I only paid $0.17 for 30 compute jobs
Ocean Protocol is heading to Pragma Cannes 🇫🇷
Just the people building the future
@oceanprotocol with Ocean Network is joining as a partner alongside ETHGlobal, Chainlink, Uniswap, and Ledger.
This is where the real conversations happen stablecoins, DeFi, L2s, AI, scaling, and the Ethereum roadmap. Builders, not hype.
Grab your ticket: https://t.co/Lf3idzKl1C
Pragma Cannes by @ETHGlobal is one week away 🇫🇷
The builders shaping the future of Ethereum, DeFi, and stablecoins will be there, and so will Ocean Network.
We dropped 15 free ticket coupons earlier this week, and they went fast, so we’re adding 5 more for our community.
If you’re coming, find us and let’s talk decentralized compute, Ocean Network, and what comes next.

Hot take: Stop overpaying for GPUs, NVIDIA H200s start at $2.16/hour and are just an extension away.
The Ocean Orchestrator extension connects you to a globalized supply of high-quality GPUs, powered by the Ocean Network, making it your go-to P2P compute network for running real AI workloads without dealing with infrastructure.
The extension lets you run containerized compute jobs directly from your editor in an isolated environment across distributed GPU nodes, with real-time logs and automatic result retrieval, so you can go from idea to result without leaving your IDE.
