Riha Obinegbo | 5’7” Guard | MICDS | Class of 2028

Sophomore guard Riha Obinegbo helped lead MICDS to the Class 5 District 3 Championship, scoring in double figures in all three tournament games as the Rams captured the title on their home court.
Obinegbo opened the tournament with 17 points and 7 steals in a win over McCluer North, followed by 16 points in a 58–45 victory over Whitfield. She capped off the run with 15 points in a 59–48 win over University City in the district championship.
The title marked MICDS’ second consecutive district championship and third in the last four years, finishing the tournament on a six-game winning streak.
