@iAmJoshHunt The Clacton by-election is a pathetic, self-serving act by Farage. As always, it is about him, not about residents and taxoayers. Other parties are right to leave him to it; we might be here again in a few months.
@ClarkeMicah@Jumberman No nation is Peter. But I don't know how anyone could side with Russia is the conflict. I've never known a country that was invaded without attacking anyone to be seen as the aggressor by so many (online).
@bestcanton7 This is factually accurate. 2017 result was impressive, tbf. However, it does not contextualise the results. Many who would have voted for other parties, LDs, UKIP chose to vote Tory specifically to stop Corbyn. Vote share for 2 largest parties over 80%.
@moonbootspleb@ChristopherHale 1. This is in line with Catholic teaching since at least the 1960s.
2. He's also arguing for the rights of Christians to practise their faith in non-Christian countries.
@JackBMontgomery@aclosereader@drchrisnewton He always had a personality, was just afraid/told not to show it IMO. Since becoming Mayor of GM, where London based media can't be arsed going, he has shown it. I'm not Labour & I'm not claiming he has charisma of Clinton, but most here see him as a normal bloke (in a good way).
@matthew_elliott A book celebrating national economic self harm and reducing our influence on a world stage. I'll give it a miss. Good luck all the same.
@ajborlando@dougbagleyfdl Apologies, but I want you to win! Want all home nations, plus (especially as my mum is Irish) Ireland, to do well whenever they qualify.
