IIT is just a tag, and I can confirm it. I'm from a tier 2 or tier 3 college, and yes, the placement season was not very good for me. Also, I didn't sit in the placement. I just posted everything on Twitter, and I got two offers. I'm currently working in one of the companies.

They didn't ask me where I did go for college. They didn't ask me what my CGPA is and things like that. They just want my work. They've seen my open source, they see my project, and they've seen that I can work, and that's it.

Now I'm just working there, and it's great going there. I'm happy with my work. I am crazily happy with the team, and I'm just enjoying my time here. Whoever is right now going into the college or in the college is thinking, "Oh, my college is not great," think again. The college is not there to make you successful. The college is there for you to just find yourself.
