@tacticsradio@historyinmemes Objectively a better place. I suppose you know exactly how that civilization would have evolved if it survived? Just because they used to burn witches in Europe doesn't mean they would have continued. The arguments are oversimplified
@RnkSt7@historyinmemes And you have the moral authority to determine the course of human civilization for the long-term I suppose. And I suppose your way of seeing the world is the proper way and everyone else's is not correct. This has always been the justification of the evil empires of all time.
@chainre5et@historyinmemes Your bloodthirsty civilization is quite alive. The ancient world had barbaric violence across the globe. Europe was no different. They burned witches rather than had sacrifices. There's plenty of people today that will burn their enemies to the ground
@laborofthesun@historyinmemes Where are you getting your information? There was a lot of brutality happening in Europe as well. When you eat the blood and the body of Christ, you're enacting a very similar ritual.
@Lovenwork@historyinmemes Wow! These ideas are so simpleton. Where are these people getting there values and ideas from? Seems like there's a coordinated effort in the right-wing's field to discount everything. Non-european.
@troyrushton64@historyinmemes You're forgetting the long Arc of History before both civilizations. So silly the arguments of one culture versus another. Each culture has its own genius. It's not us versus them. It's both and.
@RayDalio I practice the vipasana meditation. I 100% agree with Ray. The people I see making rash emotionally driven assessments and responses that I know personally are not the ones who meditate. The meditators are head and shoulders above the rest.
@PeterDClack Well your theory is interesting. Still just a theory. I wonder if data backs up the idea ocean currents are more important than the CO2 levels? It'd be good to see a meta-analysis of your ideas. Also, there's substantial data that the AMOC current is slowing down, problematic.
