we need to look ahead to the challenges to maintain this growth, the biggest being the fertility rate collapse. This will be the biggest challenge soon, and needs to be proactively addressed today

Poland also needs to figure out how to build big, successful companies domestically, fight the European tall poppy syndrome, and empower smart kids to build things

Tax-paid healthcare does not work at all; everyone I know uses private healthcare in Poland. For example, it's common to have your specialist visit scheduled a few years into the future with public healthcare; at the same time, the cost severely cuts into the paycheck

“High minimum wage” is not livable at all; you're basically starving unless you live in a remote village trapped in the past

guns are not there; they used to be common before WW2, which helped resist and fight nazis

there's a transit system like in any other developed country
