@Sinnoware@RohanKarMooN He has done 150+, I couldn’t say hundreds. Maybe I should say:
Every game he has posted has been done for free.
Also he’s a marketing professional so the way he posts is done for a reason, right? The algorithm is a strange beast and I’d rather devs get seen!
@Sinnoware@RohanKarMooN To be fair, Joe has posted over a hundred games for free and offered free consultation to many of them, us included. He genuinely does it out of passiona nd just wants people to succeed.
I think that shows the kind of person he is, like you said, he could charge tons.
Update : Spyro abandoned statue
Seeing this statue in person is honestly a little terrifying, mostly because of how sketchy the building looks inside. His eyes are actually broken, but we think they’re just clear plastic, so we can replace them. We think he’s made of fiberglass, and he's massive ..around 12 feet long, 5 to 6 feet tall (including the horns), and 3.5 feet wide. The photos definitely make him look smaller than he is, but he’s huge!
We agreed to pick him up on Monday after work. There is no way that thing is fitting in a regular pickup truck. Fingers crossed he isn't too heavy!

I don’t even know where to start... So, my boyfriend showed me this Instagram reel of a Spyro the Dragon statue. The sad part? It’s sitting in an abandoned building. The cool part? It was only 45 minutes away from us! I rewatched the reel a million times and tried to message the creator for details, but they gatekept the location.
So, I took matters into my own hands and spent hours tracking it down. I posted on Reddit, and some amazing people reached out with the coolest history on this thing. Turns out, this exact statue was an exclusive promotional piece used all the way back at E3 for Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon! In the old photos, he was perched way up on a high stand looking awesome. Sadly, looking closely at the reel, his wings are missing now—but he’s still dope. After E3, the statue was bought by or donated to The Arc Arcade in Astoria. When the arcade shut down in 2018, the statue basically vanished... until now.
Once I finally pinpointed the address, I had to track down the property owner, just crossing my fingers that he’d actually know what I was talking about. Because honestly, who calls a stranger first thing in the morning asking about a giant purple dragon?
By the time I gathered all this info it was 3 AM, and I was wide awake like an owl, but I had to get some sleep for work. I finally called the owner around 10 AM. I asked if he owned the building, and he said yes. Then I asked if he knew what that huge thing visible through the glass door was.
His response? “Oh, that purple lizard thing? I don’t know! It was there when I bought the building in 2021, and I have no idea what to do with it.”
I was absolutely losing it such a hilarious response. Then, he literally asked me, “Can you just come take it on Monday?” and I was like, “Uh, YES!”
If everything goes smoothly, I’m going to keep him in storage while I work on restoring him, with the goal of displaying him at a gaming expo in the future. Wish me luck and fingers crossed we get this baby out of there! #spyrothedragon #spyro #retrogaming #insomniacs

THIS SOLO DEV IS BUILDING A 2.5D MEDIEVAL SWORD FIGHTING GAME AND THE COMBAT LOOKS INSANE
one person working alone on a full combat system with 2.5D art style
he designed and built the art, environments, and animations himself. vibe coded the game mechanics with a game engine
the silhouette work and the environments already look polished. the characters move through these detailed medieval landscapes with real weight to the animations
2.5D means the characters and world are flat sprites but rendered in a 3D space so you get depth, parallax, and lighting effects without needing a full 3D engine
the combat has directional attacks, parrying, and what looks like a stamina based system. all built by one person
i think it needs a bit more hit feedback like hit-stop and sharper audio on contact to make every swing feel heavier. small tweaks that would take it from looking good to feeling incredible
but nonetheless this looks pretty slick. insane what one person can do now with vibe coding + a game engine
solo game devs are building things that would have required a full studio 5 years ago

Santos I thought was going to be used in AAA?
MCMG didn’t get super over with the crowd tbh, but would in AEW.
Alba could’ve been used better.
Wyatt Sicks weren’t being used very well.

It's called Legion of Honor. Would you play this?
Honestly the prices for WWE Raw in the O2 are embarassing.
In no way should anyone be paying £300-500 for lower tier on hard cam.
Tickets used to be £30-£100 for that.
Ringside is now like £1300-£1500.
Something needs to change, especially when the product isn't that good.
