So, whatever ideology you’re referring to isn’t going to translate 1:1 with political affiliation.

Maybe some were Green Party or Socialist, but you can’t assume “Democrat.”

But, regardless of where registration occurs, that process still requires a driver’s license number, ID card number, or SSN.

New voters who can’t provide that at registration need to show ID when they vote.

And ID is still required for 1st-time-voters.

Sometimes their complaints go viral and people who don’t know the comedian and didn’t see the show will escalate the controversy. As a result, the comedian faces “consequences.”

But, from a strictly comedy standpoint, we can’t pretend that the comedian who gets huge laughs in front of the white supremacists and the comedian who bombs in front of the white supremacists are comedically equal.
