@SpartanElite43 Thought u would approve. I know u have a Montana affinity. Been watching your channel a while now. Would like to play div with you sometime if u up for it.
@Handy_Man_Daz @CopsAgainst In the meantime as a result of the pension trap I end up working 2 years longer than I should effectively losing out on lost time of retirement and £36000 in pension payments. The government are a disgrace and their consultation is pure bullshit
@daveydavoo @PloddMan99 @CopsAgainst @RobTheBobby@leembroad That’s just it though. Although we have “won” nobody knows what the final prize is. Yes we are back on our preferred pension until April 22 but they have turned a service based pension to a aged based pension. I still don’t know when I can retire and how much I will get!
@CopsAgainst I thought the ET ordered that those discriminated against were entitled to be treated the same as older officers. At what point were older officers forced onto a less favourable pension, forced to work longer, pay more contributions and for much less. The proposed remedy is BS.
@CopsAgainst @72Mozza If gov try to level up first and then level everyone down to CARE then there will be a new legal challenge. They would lose again as there will still be discrimination as those who retire in the future will get less than those who retired since 2012 to date. HMG 0 PC 1 (HMG og)
@LeeMBroad @Cobretti999 I joined October 96 aged 23. I missed out on tapering by about six months. I was one of the hardest hit I think. So the bitterness is strong with me. I have been harping on a lot that I genuinely believe the government are fucked. They have shot themselves in the foot. RIP CARE15
@LeeMBroad @Cobretti999 Yes but if the gov change it again I have still not been treated the same way as my older colleagues. The government have then defied the tribunals order that they have to treat us the same. It really is that simple. THEY CAN’T. If they try they will lose.
@Jrs70uk @BigDom80@LeeMBroad@PFEW_HQ@pfew My interpretation of it all is they can’t remove protections of older cops to remove the discrimination. They have to level up the young. They also can’t just protect everyone up to 2022. Cops have retired since Apr 1 2012 everyone still serving has to be treated the same as them
@CopsAgainst @Jrs70uk @innocen77822909@rj_mcdonald @Hendo867 @milkand2@PFEW_HQ There are still fully protected officers who are yet to retire. They will get same treatment as existing pensioners. Everyone else has been discriminated against.
@innocen77822909@rj_mcdonald @Hendo867 @Jrs70uk @CopsAgainst @milkand2@PFEW_HQ The government lost on legitimate aim. Therefore they can’t justify any discrimination whatsoever, no matter how small. Had they won on legitimate aim then any discrimination would have been tested for its proportionality and remedied accordingly.
@innocen77822909@rj_mcdonald @Hendo867 @Jrs70uk @CopsAgainst @milkand2@PFEW_HQ I disagree. I got 3 years protection having been told in 2012 I am going into CARE15 in 2015. If I am levelled up to just 2022 i will be 49 years with 11 years to do instead of 4 years, I will then be facing further discrimination as I am working longer, paying more in for less.
@innocen77822909@rj_mcdonald @Hendo867 @Jrs70uk @CopsAgainst @milkand2@PFEW_HQ if older officers are levelled down to 2022 they are discriminated against too as they have been treated less favourably than those who have retired with a full 1987 pension since 2012 to now. The govt have no room for manoeuvre
@innocen77822909@rj_mcdonald @Hendo867 @Jrs70uk @CopsAgainst @milkand2@PFEW_HQ Older officers who are yet to retire can’t lose anything. If they do they too will end up being discriminated against. Since 2012 Cops have retired with full protection. The government are completely boxed in. Their only option is full redress to remove all discrimination
@PFEW_HQ You’ve not been at all interested until now. Which is why over 13000+ betrayed cops who you sold down the river sought their own legal challenge. I have lost complete faith in the Police Federation who should been protecting all their members like the Fire Brigades Union did.
@RobMoss01@fbunational@MattWrack What about the now discontinued Police CRTP? - which equated to approx £1100 pensionable pay per year. Pension contributions were made from this. What happens to that money?
